Junbo Zhao is currently a PhD student at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His recent research focus is Generative Model and Reinforcement Learning.

Junbo Zhao earned his bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from Department of Engineering Physics at Tsinghua University. Subsequently, he obtained his master's degree in Electronic Information from Institute of Data and Information at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, where he worked under the guidance of Prof. Qingmin Liao and Dr. Xuefei Ning. After that, he worked as a software engineer at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.
Junbo Zhao's previous research primarily focused on automated machine learning and the design of efficient neural networks, especially on neural architecture search. In addition, he has worked on safety research, including adversarial robustness and fault tolerance.
